Keep your vision board in sight on your Windows desktop
Updated 3 October 2026
Most vision boards end up in a drawer or in an app you rarely open. The simplest fix is to put yours where you already look all day: your computer screen.
1. Build the board on Pinterest
- On Pinterest, choose Create › Board and give it a name you'll recognise, like "2027".
- Save pins for each part of the life you're after: home, work, travel, health, people.
- Aim for 30 to 60 pins. Fewer looks repetitive on a big screen; many more and older pins stop showing.
- Keep the board public, so it can be read without signing in.
2. Get it onto your screen
You can save the images and use a Windows slideshow (how), or let tak read the board and lay it out as a grid that refreshes on its own.
3. Make it hard to ignore
- Change it often enough to notice. A new layout every 30 minutes or every hour keeps your eye moving across the board.
- Use the lock screen too. tak can show the board on the Windows lock screen, so it's the first thing you see.
- Edit as you go. Reached something, or changed your mind? Take those pins off. The wallpaper follows.
